In this week’s lecture, Suzanne provided our class with a lecture on the importance of infographics, logos, and crowdsourcing. These tools are valuable to many businesses and brands, but are most needed when working on online platforms and reaching consumers in a digital manner. In case you haven’t seen my logo that I posted last week, here it is again below!
Unfortunately, I am in the process of finding and placing it on the homepage of ReRouted and cannot seem to find a way to upload it cleanly in a good location. I will continue to work at this process and hopefully have it up sooner than later. Here is an infographic example that was created for PUB 101 when ReRouted was focused on my story and a personal blog format!
As mentioned, Suzanne provided us with links for developing free infographics on Canva, Data Visualization Catalogue, and Visme. Along with this were many other free resources for creative online content that are very useful for school and business projects. Take a look at ReRouted’s Canva infographic below!
Finally, we touched on the topic of crowd sourcing and were shown a video of how the impact of helping someone start their business and offset their costs just to produce their product is extremely helpful and meaning. It’s a great tool and people can do amazing things for each other when we work together!
